Lets see. The plan was to go to a break fasting to Hulhumale and later on have the barbeque. So we bought 2 chicken leg packs, 2 sausage packs, bought a HUGE Rf140 fish, 60 faraataa etc. We nearly made it to the last ferry and were on our way to hulhumale' when it struck us. "Errr......wheres the chicken leg packs?? We left it in the fridge?? NEHEEE!! Well, look on the bright side. Atleast we have the sausage packs right here.....errr... where? WHAAT!! We left them too?? Its ok. dont panick everyone. Atleast we still have the fish and the faraataa box. We'll jes send someone back after breaking fast to get the stuff".
When we arrived at hulhumale' the sky was overcast with thick and 'endheri kalhu' clouds. It started pouring cats n dogs in an instance. Great weather for a BBQ huh? Well, lets hope itll stop later. So we finished breaking fast and went to the mosque. We dodnt leave the mosque for like an hour. yep. how pious and religious of us. well...actually it started raining cats n dogs AGAIN and we were stuck there. Neways, when it calmed down we went back and decided that we'd get wet in the rain. it'd be fun afterall right? so we changed into shorts n t-shirt and went out to see that the rain had stopped!!!
Sigh! and by now it was too late to send someone back to get the chicken legs and sausages. but we werent gonna give up. i mean there was a Rf140 HUGE fish. So we went off to get some petrol to light the fire and guess what? yep. the place was closed down and we couldnt get any petrol either. So we had to go around looking for a pump and take some petrol from our motorbikes. Jes as we started to do so, we were apprehended by the cops. Life's jes lovely aint it? But luckily they believed our story and let us be. Afterall we had the fish and the BBQ stuff with us.
The lighting of the fire was Awesome. Well....we went mad with the petrol. the guys kept pouring more and more petrol into the fire jes to see the flame light up. Before we knew it we had emptied over 3ltrs of petrol on it and nearly blew up one bottle while trying to throw petrol into the flame. The BBQ went well. We finished and cut open the faraataa box and yet again to our dismay the box was filled with 'gulha' (a short eat that looks like balls?). I mean there werent jes a couple of it. over a 100 atleast. It seems the take away place from where we bought the faraataas had mixed up the two boxes and given us the wrong one. Rf180 worth of faraataas. AAAARRGHHH!!!
But atleast now we'd remember this 'GREAT' BBQ for the rest of our lives. But all in all it was loads of fun and it did turn out to be the best BBQ ever. The bastards made me dance *whistle whistle*

@naththu: hey bro, didnt xpect to see u in here. hehe. yea, roa filuvun. tried sumthing new. mas kandaafa dhefaraathuga in masgandun hangandu nagaafa then put the chillin on it. then we rolled aluminium foil around it and then did the barbeque. varah obi.
