When ur in a tight spot or if ur going through something, for example in my case the plaster. That’s when u find out the ppl that really SHOULD matter in your life. The phone calls of concern and the ones made to see how you’re coming along in your recovery and all the people that came to see how you were doing. These people are the ones that should really matter. People worth calling true friends. Friends come and go as you grow up. Only those special ones keep on sticking by with you and actually make that effort on their part.
You can even filter them into categories as to who are the closest and who values you the most. How? By the frequency of their phone calls, the duration of it, those who actually make the effort to come see you rather than just finish it with a phone call, by the frequency of the visits and even through their attitudes.
Then there are those who say over n over again what a great friend you are and still not be able to actually show it. Doing the talk but not able to actually walk the walk. The pretenders from the real ones. Don’t get me wrong. They are good friends too. Just not good enough compared to those friends that really matter. That’s something that they have to accept even if this may sound harsh.
I for one am glad and delighted to say that im really lucky to have so many wonderful friends. The last 2 and a half weeks would’ve been hell if it hadn’t been for you guys. So I’d like to thank all of them a lot and would like them to know just how much they mean to me. But since this is the blog I guess I should mention the bloggers.
I-kko, velvette storm, nau, shan, starky, aesha, xlycanx, sunrise(the colour :p), shanu and yaitte. Ive just started to know 3 of them but still thanks a lot for dropping by.
Btw, hope last night was fun for those who came.
