The Origin of Man:Evolution or Intelligent Design.

The question of evolution or intelligent design is a controversial topic around the world. Creationists are certain that there was a creator who designed everything, while Evolutionists believe that evolution on its own brought us into existence. It was Charles Darwin in his 1859 book On the Origin of Species who introduced the theories of Natural Selection and Common Descent which gave rise to this heated debate. In 1871 in his second large book on evolution The Descent of Man, Darwin applied his two theories to human evolution. In the Muslim world human evolution was completely rejected without any consideration. The Muslim religious scholars at the time of Darwin were not fluent in English, nor were they well educated in science, so none of them had the skills needed to investigate the Quran in light of scientific findings. Once they declared “evolution is wrong,” it just stayed that way.

This slide show is too long so ill keep it simple and leave the link below. It talks about the fossils that were found which were somewhat similar to us. And by using verses from the Quran explains where it all fits. Verses which actually agree to it being true. that these beings had once roamed the earth before man did. They link the verses from the Quran to the modern day science and findings about these fossils. And actually suggests that we too could be replaced. Have a read.

Heres the link: Origin of Man

I dunno, but for me, Islamic thinking has a lot of strange plotholes, plotholes that if I asked any god-fearing semite about, I would surely get shot in the head. With an AK-47.

Sure, there's already been a crapload of "extinction events" already (imagine how the dinosaurs must've felt on That Day. No early warning, no screaming klaxons, no nukes, just BOOOOM.)

The modern religions of today (i.e. Islam, Christianity and Judaism are in a unending state of contest with each other, if Islam states that its wrong to drink alcohol, Christianity says "go nuts!"

Perhaps evolution DID occur over a span of millions of years, but since Islamic thought has learnt well to oppose EVERYTHING from the west, will quite happily state that "evolution IS false. SO THERE."

I believe, that today; the Abrahamic religions have become a pillar which to wage war of attrition against each other, unaware of the looming threat many ancient civilizations have warned us of.

Example, Christian conquistadors burned old scrolls and calendars, destroyed ancient observatories and defiled places of knowledge, such as libraries of the ancient Mayan and Inca races, claiming they were the "works of the devil."

The last extinction event occurred sometime in 13000 BC (approx) - proof can still be seen in the bone-fields of Siberia. What on earth a horse could be doing in the freezing wastes of Siberia have befuddled scientists to this day. From the sheer scale of destruction revealed by the fossil records, one can presume it occurred instantly, and had no hand of man to bring it to be.

Its ok, you know; maybe there's a hint of truth to the Abrahamic religions. The old (unedited, lol) testament states that the "final day" will come to us as a "thief in the night", from a most unexpected quarter.

Strange things happen when magnetic poles shift. While we're looking at the sky, it'll come from the depths of the earth and scream "SECRET FORBIDDEN KONOHA TAIJUTSU, 1000 YEARS OF DEATH!" at us. The last time the poles shifted was around the time when Noah was building his Ark. The great shale-sheets of Iraq stand to this day as undeniable proof that on that day, something happened to the order of the world.

Noah's story is echoed in nearly every culture around the world, from the Lapps in Alaska to the Aborigines from Australia;- hinting at a global event.

Oh, we've been around for a long time. The Piri Reis Map is proof.
Google it, if you wish.

well as the saying goes, the evolution theory "has more holes in it than a Dutch dam made from Swiss cheese."

@anon:The Piri Reis map ("Piri" pronounced /piɹi/) is a famous pre-modern world map created by 16th century Ottoman-Turkish admiral and cartographer Piri Reis. The map shows part of the western coasts of Europe and North Africa with reasonable accuracy, and the coast of Brazil is also easily recognizable. Various Atlantic islands including the Azores and Canary Islands are depicted, as is the mythical island of Antillia. The map is noteworthy for its depiction of a southern landmass that some controversially claim is evidence for early awareness of the existence of Antarctica.
