The gang and I were talking about this topic the other day as to how lucky women were,even in our religion. Even when it comes to respect and love the woman is four times above that of a man. We have to love our mothers four times more than our fathers. And theres the saying ‘maimeehaage faithila dhashunney suvarugeves vadheveynee’. She’s the most important person.

And keeping religion aside, even at relationships, men come to them all the time. Doesn’t even matter if they are in a relationship or not. But with us, we have to do the chasing. even in a relationship guy does all the spending

Eydhafushi chronicles

Jes remembered. Millionaire from Malay

The three of them came to maldives on 18th night jes for a few days to promote the Elken business. Mom cooked her delicious meals for lunch for them. it was superb. :D. She captured the hearts of the three......and their stomachs too.hehe. no surprise there. she's the best cook ever.

Even if true, isnt it going too far?

Heres the other side of the story which i heard from a friend who lives in Villingili.

Seems the girl is someone who usually goes to this group of guys who later on did that to her. and seems she has 'fun' with them. She had 'fun' with one of them who was a husband as well. soon afterwards she had to go around and tell a friend of her's about it. and this friend went over and told the guy's wife. there rose a HUGE problem within the family which soon afterwards resulted in what had happened to her.

But then again no one deserves that...even after what she did. but i take note of the point that anonymous pointed out in the previous post. Ginafaharu anhen kujjaa ves ulhey gothun vaa kanthah ei. And she shouldnt go around getting together with anyone who approaches her. meehakaa rattehi vaa iru evaru atleast balailan vaanethaa. not that they'll know that sumthing like that would happen but atleast they should get an indication about what kind of person the guy is right? But even if the girl has cheated on the guy or done some shitty stuff, i believe that the guy should stop being all 'manly' about it acting tough and taking revenge on it, and to stop themselves from doing something stupid that they'll regret later on. even if they look to be like pussys.

Im sure most of you mustve heard about the incident involving the ameeniyyaa girl at villingili. For those who haven’t, her bf took her to villingili and with the help of a couple of guys they tied her, stripped her naked and made a video of her. She was crying through it all and the guys were jes laughing about it. As to the reason for this betrayal, a friend told me(not 100% reliable) was that the girl cheated on her bf with another guy. That’s no excuse to do this. Its jes sick.

Met a guy on the road jes recently who was talking about the video. He was saying that if the girl cheated on the guy and if he wanted to embarrass his gf he could’ve jes had sex with her and taped that. That way everyone seeing the video would consider her as a ‘badi’ but now everyone human looking at the video would sympathize with her. Even that would’ve been much better than this. *he wasn’t emphasizing that it was a good idea to do it but merely showing the extent this bf had taken things*.

The guys have been caught thankfully. Seems there were about 15ppl at the scene. Most of them were jes watching but they too will share the sentence. Afterall, they weren’t any better jes cos they were watching. Hopefully their punishment would be severe.

These kind of things are now happening occasionally around us. Most of the time its not out in the open like this case. We’ve jes witnessed or heard of a few such cases out of the many that exist. For example there was a case where a girl broke up with her bf cos he was into drugs and was sent to prison. But one day this girl confronted his friends who kidnapped her and took her to one of their places. There she was tied up jes like the girl in villingili. It was in the middle of Ramazaan. Guess what she was given to break her fast. Yea, plus they raped her one after the other and only let her go at the light of dawn the following day.

There is also another case which is quite well known here in male’. The one where the girl cheated on her bf and the guy re-decorated her face with a razor. There was blood all over her face and she still has those scars all over her face.
Met a guy who says “us guys are the a**h***s we are becos we were made that way by women. They are the ones who changed us into that”. Ive personally witnessed a lot of cases like that. Maybe he’s right. But still in the above mentioned cases it dusnt matter what the women did to the guys, no one deserves to be treated that way. Those guys took it waaaay over the line and lost track of humanity I must say.

These are stuff that’s happening all around us. We aren’t safe any more. Especially women. So this goes out to all of u. Do be extremely careful and don’t trust anyone. This is a dangerous place. Most of the time u don’t even have to do sumthing to be harassed . Lets all pray that our country once again becomes a safe place where we can actually go out into the streets feeling safe and secure.

Would u tell?

If u found out or saw something about the bitu of a friend that was more than just suspicious, gives a shock "WTF??!!" or anything to do with cheating, drinking, shagging prostitutes, drugs etc, would u go and tell your friend about it? The obvious answer would be "yes" right?

But then again would your friend believe you? Afterall, you had no proof. Its not like you had a video camera with you or if in the case of cheating, its not like you saw that person actually having sex. Wouldnt it be logical for your friend NOT to believe you?

Lets put ourselves in our friend's shoes. If a friend comes and tells you such a thing without any proof about your own bitu, would you believe it? Or would you go and tell your bitu that this certain friend has said this and that and whether if its true? Even if your bitu did it or not, without proof there's no way anyone would agree to such a thing right? Even if you point out the date and time,a lot of convincing stories can be told even at that instance.

Plus u'll have that urge or tendency within you to believe in your bitu and even wishing what your friend had told you to be a lie or some misunderstanding. at that point it wont matter even if ur friend isnt someone who lies about stuff. What would happen then? Ur bitu would start saying stuff about your friend, saying that person is trying to mess up the relationship or something like that. Soon, even unintentionally u'll start hating your friend and ur bitu is gonna do everything she can to spoil that friendship or to keep that friend far away.

So i guess u cant really blame ur friend even if he/she doesnt believe what u tell him dho? AFterall this is the bitu whom your friend is together with, shares everything with, one with whom all those romantic memories were shared with, the one whom ur friend makes out with. and the one who was mostly there at the time of need.
So what would you do with that info?

Theres also the option of not telling about it. If your friend had any brains at all and wasnt still naive he/she should be able to figure it out right? But then again you dont want your friend to suffer jes becos you are holding back what you know. You wouldnt want to take that risk either.

In my experience its better not to tell. depends on what kinda person my friend is. is he/she the kind who would go tell his/her bitu the instant u tell anything? if so better to keep quiet about it. will eventually find out right? I had an experience where i told a friend that the guy she had jes started seeing was jes trying to get into her pants. she later realised it O after i told her everything i knew and cut him off. she was so thankful and grateful. but then soon afterwards jes like that i was hated beyond anyone in her life probably. and i was treated and spoken to as if i had murdered someone. all the nice stuff she said were replaced with words of hurt and senseless complaining. so i decided then and there that i wont do it anymore.

And if a friend told me something about my gf,i wouldnt tell her about it jes yet. not until ive heard the whole story from my friend and done with a little digging of myself. I dont believe that its NOT trusting my gf. Afterall, i dont have to tell every bit of info i hear or see to my gf. Especially about this. even if i tell her i can jes say its from someone anonymous. who knows. It might all even be a big misunderstanding. So if i told my gf about it, there would obviously be friction between my friend and her even if it turns out to be a misunderstanding or not. What would u do?

dammit. my laptop has gone kapoot. It used to have Norton in it. one day i got online and tried to update it. They asked me to input the code at the back of the Cd. Dammit! the smartarses! I got the thing from a friend so didnt have the code. Now its all inactive. So i downloaded AVAST since i heard it was really good aaaaaaand since it was for free ;). hehe

Everytime i opened my laptop there would pop up a window from Avast. i jes clicked 'yes' without even reading it a single time. (yep. my mistake. BIIIIG time).

Last night while i was online chattin and around 2 or so the comp suddenly froze up. didnt care much and jes shut it down and went to bed

Woke up this morning and when i opened it, windows opened up as usual and the desktop icons were all there. i could even click on em. but couldnt open a single thing. soon afterwards the comp got stuck again. restarted it a couple of times and by luck it started working again. so i seized the opportunity and rushed off with the laptop to meet an IT bro of mine.

Seems that pop up window from Avast was saying that since Norton was still installed on my computer it wasnt able to perfoem or sumthing and was inactive. so basically all these days my comp was all naked towards all the viruses from the net. stupid stupid stupid and so carefree. dammit! now i have to format the whole thing again. sigh. No watching animes tonight i guess. :(

Damn these computer viruses. whats the best? nod, avast or norton. i heard that norton slows down the comp over 20% jes so that it can perform (it itself being a damn virus). most ppl recommended nod. it cost like 500bucks which aint much since its for one whole year.

Foo Nei Fayah Fen Furun

A girl calls u after midnight. she's one of those friends who tells u everything even about the problems she has with her boyfriend and stuff not another soul in the world knows about. uve been giving advice to her on her asking for over a week now. she totally agrees with u everytime and is determined to follow the advice. but at the very moment of following that advice, she hesitates and does it her way(the way that had been talked with me that should NOT be done).

She calls u again after a few days after midnight jes like that and says everything is great. that life had never been better. that u had been wrong for the first time ever. u dont believe her. and u give her the lecture of her lifetime pointing out that she aint happy. that this and that is probably happening to her now. and the reason why she called u at that time was becos something was really bothering. and after the long, harsh lecture she starts crying. and says that u were right from the beginning. that everything uve said that night in the lecture and the previous nights were all true. that the consequences u had referred to b4 had now come her way.

What do u do? do u say "i told u so" and give another lecture? or do u say "its alright" and keep on giving advice knowing that she would probably do the same jes like all the girls have been doing so far over and over again? do u get frustrated that the same shit repeats over n over again? Do u feel that they will never understand it and accept it the easy way instead of "bondi boyegen"? Or do u continue what uve been doing in the hopes that some other girl would listen to u or the ones who hadnt before would do it from hence forth? Do u stop giving a damn about them and say "they should deal with their own shit"?

Galo Gadharu

We are told not to ask Qs about it. Just to believe it. For those who don’t know the term it means that god knows everything that has happened and everything that will happen. That god knows the choices that will be given to us and the choices we’ll make even before we do it. But then the Question asked is “does he have control over all our actions? If he does whats the point of it all?” and “how would god know of it all?”

I was recently asked this question again by a friend. I told him that a bro of mine and I had a small discussion abt it and heres a small theory that we came up with. Ofcourse it dusnt have to be true.

For example lets take a maze(u all know what a maze is right?). lets say I built the whole maze and I know all the routes in it. So im letting a small mouse into it at the beginning. When it goes inside the maze ill definitely know that its gonna meet a choice of lets say 3 routes to choose from at first. And that if it takes the first one, itll have to go through another series of routes etc. same goes for the other routes. In short from the beginning of the maze till the end I the maker will know all the choices that the mouse will come across and every single route to its full extent. Ill know its whole life IN the maze taking into account its actions in the maze. But this is jes a simple and small example.

But in that example I don’t know how the rat would think right? But god cannot even be compared to such a pathetic example. He created humans and knows us best upto the function of every teeny bit of cell in out body. Plus he created this world where we live in and everything in it. Even all the obstacles and everything we’d come across in this world. He’s got a knowledge far superior than our limited brains and understanding could ever come close to comprehending. So why is that so hard to believe that god will know how everything will end and all the choices and decisions we would make. It dusnt mean god has control over our actions.

We have something called free will which is one of the most powerful things we possess. We can do whatever we want whenever we want. We have that choice and we can make that decision upto our capabilities. So don’t go “I don’t have control over my actions. It has already been written how my life will end”. U have the choice of choosing the right from the wrong and how ur going to live ur life.

isnt it jes a surprise? u meet someone and u dont know anything abt them. u start msging, chatting, talking on the fone and start knowing each other.especially their deepest secrets. and when u meet up theres this sumthing inside u which keeps bugging u. as if had seen that person or that she seemed familiar. but u jes tell urself that this is male' and that u mustve seen that person someday on the road or sumthin. and then suddenly one day u find out that u know that person's whole family. that u even used to go to their place to play when u were tiny and small(i was never tiny or small btw) *whistle whislte*. and then suddenly everything falls into place and u start getting flashbacks from the past and get reminded of the times back then. and find out that both ur parents know each other and were really close friends back then and even now. its the feeling u get at that instant u know all this. cant quite describe it. not a disappointing feeling. but a happy and pleasant one. why is that? and how to describe that feeling? hmmmmm. ooooooooh. aaaaaahhh. But that’s not what happens now huh? We eat all acidic food such as mouth-watering meat, seafood, grains and pastries. Not to mention all those submarines from Dynmo, burgers, chips etc. hehe

Here in Male’ especially, we live in small congested rooms all day long or under A.Cs and when we do go out, we are surrounded by carbonmonixide from the unlimited vehicles that surround as all the time. Plus the water we drink aint hygienic. Water supply fen when tested dusnt show good results at all. And few ppl drink all mineral water.

Because of all these reasons we are in a semi-healthy state which causes Pigmentations, headaches, limb Numbness, Haemorrhoids, Muscle pain, Shoulder pain, Gastric, Acne, Joint aches, Fatigue, Constipation, Skin allergy etc. All of these then result in onset of diseases such as Stomach ulcer, lung diseases, abnormal growth of cells, cirrhosis, kidney disease, myocardial infraction, heart disease, anaemia, diabetes etc.

As the years go by the number of diseases discovered are getting more and the number of ppl getting sick are increasing at an alarming rate. So in short, our body gets little benefit from the stuff we eat.

And so many Maldivians suffer from the previously mentioned semi-healthy state. When we do, we jes have a panadol or some other kind of chemical induced medicine which brings forth a temporary cure.
