Happy b'day Phenol

Very warm birthday(now its belated i guess)wishes to phenol and a special 'thank you' for all who came to the small celebration at my place terrace. so thanx to shan, aesha, i-kko, bandu ali, maa, aari, amdhan and musfir.

Nothing big. just a small gathering with pizzas and drinks. got a guitar later on, but before it actually reached shan's hands as expected one string was cut by the careless hands of bandu ali.(second time thins happened infront of me). doesnt anyone bloody listen to me when i say NOT to giv him the guitar? but nevertheless we had a fun time(ofcourse its gonna be fun, its the gang. *hint hint farey*). and to make the night more special i called up the one and only affey who had ALOT to say to everyone there. hehe. hope you had a great time Phenol. got lots more celebrating to do when affey comes back and hopefully farey(if he doesnt have better plans like going to malay) *whistle whistle* :p Come on farey. get ur arse over here. ur missing out on all the fun. we'll make that week worthwhile and u know it. ;) affey, iru and even nattu is coming. now we just lack naththu and starky.

Torn Mime

A thing u SHOULD try in a lift.

yesterday me, velvy, aesha, shan and iya were having a coffee at central (so sad u couldnt join us i-kko.but u did later on that night at food bank dho). so we were having fun cracking jokes etc etc etc that velvy even skipped office to stay behind.

Then neways, the important part. we finished up and on the way down in the elevator we started jumping up n down all together(used to do that alot. the only diff this time was iya was with us). Velvy started panicking saying that the lift might fall and that it actually had some time back. too bad we never listened to her. when the lift went down inbetween the 2nd and the 1st floor it gave a huge ring and stopped! we were all looking at each other and slowly a smile emerged on our faces and we were laughing abt it. we pressed the buttons to no avail. we even rang the bell continuously. by then velvy was really panicking. she's claustrophibic(is that the right term?). so after a while when no one came shan muscled up and opened the elevator door. there was then another one which was supposed to open to the first floor. shan tried that one too which was tight shut. even iya tried opening it to no avail. then out of nowhere shan started experimenting on the levers on the door and voila! it opened. so one by one we got on our knees and jumped down to the first floor. velvy came out last. the min we stopped holding open the door, it closed tight shut in a jiffy. almost caught her in the middle.

We slowly climbed down the stair and went off our merry way to our next location food bank.too bad the place didnt have a lift. wonder if the lift would be repaired when we go there today. hmmmmmm.

oh yea, i had forgotten to tell this part. when we got out i asked 'what should we do next?'. shan looks at me and repeats the smae thing. so does aesha and iya. then i say lets go eat'. the same cycle repeats again and again until i had to scream out an auguraana without realising that i was out on the road and ppl were now staring at me. food bank varah majaa. hama obinoavey. maybe its not that bad to e back in male'. hehe

That was some trip. 10 of us. 6guys n 4 gals. one of the best trips ive gone on so far. Fraser's hill was awesome. the only regret was that i forgot to take my own cam with me. but still got some pics to share which were taken by affey and nadhoo.

the whole lot of us rented an apartment for 4 and all crashed in there. lol. it was damn cold since it was at the top of a mountain. the sceneries there were awesome. *regrets again for the camera bit*. when the sun set the whole place was covered by fog and the temp dropped below 15. i was lucky it wasnt a first for me since ive been at a winter in aussie where the temp dropped down to -5. but most of the others were shivering which didnt stop em from having fun though.

We made this pact at the beginning of our traveling that no one was to smoke till we reached our destination and that there would be eternal consequences for anyone who broke it. well...one guy did. he didnt think we'd do anything. but me n affey, u know how we are. that night the guy was stripped to his boxers and he wore a skirt along with one of the gal's bra. then we made the gals put makeup on him along with another guy. lots of pics were taken and that specific guy had to give everyone a strip show. and boy he was good at it. one of the other guys joined in with the dancing and slowly helped him strip. lol. sick? if u were there u wudnt be saying it. everyone was laughing their arses off and the guys were acting all horny. then the guy slowly took off the bra with a lusty look, had his nipples covered and did more teasing. like i said before, he was damn good at it. so many questions were raised about his sexuality.

so many other stuff happened during the trip which would make this post all so long. so ill jes save the rest for the ppl i meet up *hint hint*. neways enjoy the pics.

God i feel sick :(

Got a fever, bleeding nose, swollen tonsil, coughing like hell, body pain, headache, and my eyes are really red. it didnt get any better even after 3days. so finally went to the doc and now i have to eat all this medicine with antibiotics. 5 medicines per day. damn. and the hospitals here are fricking expensive. it cost me like MRF250 for the one appointment and another MRF500 for the medicines. but looking on the bright side, i feel alot better today....apart from the continuous coughing which made me stay awake all of last night. i can even taste blood when i cough. damn.

something interesting happened at the hospital. the doc checks my blood pressure. it was normal which shocked her. then she checked my heartbeat. she was shocked again. so she checked again. it seems that i have a missed heartbeat. seems the beating isnt the same. once every three beats or so my heart stops and skips a beat. it like doesnt beat when it should be and starts continuing after pausing for a bit. she said it was due to either too much coffee(no i dont drink THAT much coffee) or if ive exercised for days or weeks and just stopped. hmmmm. maybe thats why. atleast she said it was nothing to worry about so alls good.

im going to the cinemas today. gonna watch rambo and jumper. lets see how they are. watched 'across the universe' last night and god that was so good. it was awesome. the beatles songs in it were great. superb. hehe. do watch it all u beatles fans. and even if u rnt one just watch it. u'll become a fan after u do. ;)

btw, im still saving the 'Fraser's hill' post for a bit later. the trip was out of this world i tell you......not counting the travelling and the continuous walking. hehe

Just a passing thought

a thought that passed. thinking back and seeing all those friends and relatives of mine who were all so innocent back then. ppl whom u never thought would take that wrong a turns. then u look at the present day and see the whole lot of them drinking, sleeping around behind their partners, using weed, using drugs and so much more.

yea, even back then i knew that there would be ppl who would do these things but it hits u when u find out that its the most unexpecting of ppl that u knew. and it makes that huge impact when they all are honest abt it with u. when they have a need to tell someone and that someone turns out to be u. sometimes u wish that u were never that someone who had to hold on to all those dark secrets. cos it makes u lose faith in the ppl around you. and it makes it hard to accept their doings with a smile on ur face when u are hanging around with them. but so far its going well. so amen to that.

This sux! oh well, atleast im still alive and the world hasnt ended yet. :) now to make the best of the time left here. we cooked tonight. it was a guy cook fest. first we made beef steaks. when we tasted em it was jes too damn good. me and affey looked at each other as we tasted it and it was instant chemistry. we both knew what the other was thinking. within a few minutes the beef steak plate was empty. lol. it was that damn good. so ended up cooking fried rice, chicken steak and chicken stew. hehe. had to eat em all too.

Biggest Maldivian Misconception

Whats the biggest maldivian misconception? in my view, its the word 'foah' that most of us use quite often.
For example:
"Thilhaa foah!"
"Egolaa foakah condom lavvaidheynves jehunee ma"
Etc etc that u dont wanna hear.
So what does the word 'foah' actually mean?
It means the guy's penis right?
WRONG!!
Penis is "soo", "heesi" etc
The word "foah" means the balls. yep!
U can see the resemblance from the word "foah" we use for the "foah" we eat and its resemblance to the balls.
So learn what it means already and stop referring to the penis as "foah" for god's sake. :)

RockStorm

Boy that was a sight last night. emme rockstorm vefa. lol. mainly 15yr olds with fake earrings and piercing. T-shirts with the words "Jesus is a cunt" and coiling up their small beards to make it look as if a huge spike was coming out of their chin. even the walks were different. gave a look which screamed out "dont i look HIP? Dont i look....COOL?" . and dont get me started on the women. As if they smelled of sex and cheap cologne with marks on their necks which screamed "i am urs". but i must say...there were some very ehrm ehrms in the area.

Everybody has to wear black??? anything goes as long as its black? everytime i heard that made me remember what a friend of mine said abt it. "We have to pay fuckin 66bucks AND dress to their liking? Vats up with that? waht is this...a wedding and we are the relatives? :S"

Oh well, met some ppl later on and the feedback wasnt so good it seems. but some of the music were really good o.oh well. each one to their own liking i suppose.
